About

Mark Andersen has been shooting and directing film and stills projects since 1985.  In 1995 he founded Rubberball Productions, one of the oldest royalty free stock agencies in the world. Having worked in both stock photos and motion pictures since the early 90’s, Mark has become a leader in the industry.  In 2009 Mark became a founding member of  RGB Venture Partners, which purchased SuperStock, a specialty stock agency based in Jacksonville, Florida.  Today Mark owns and operates Silver Lake Studios Inc.  Silver Lake Studios is focused on feature films and shorts, commercial productions, fine art video, stock footage and production support, including camera rentals through UtahCineVideo.com.  Mark lives in Utah with his wife Denise and their five children.

4K Ultra HD

Mark Andersen has been shooting UHD 4K content for the past 5 years. Much of his work takes on a fine art nature and includes landscapes, cityscapes, and people in locations around the world. Some of this work has been chronicled in the short film Sojourns. Sojourns is a non-narrative 4K UHD feature chronicling locations and people all over the world, or at least as far as Mark has traveled. Sojourns is photographed entirely with Red Digital Cinema cameras and shot in 4K through 6K resolutions which produce stunning detail and colors that beg to be examined up close, preferably in 4K UHD.
